School Reading Day 2009 & Out with teachers

Today can be the most impressive day I have ever had.
First we had out school Reading day 2009 and that was the most terrible and boring event among all in a year. Guess what? We got stuck in the hall for two talks. I didn't know what the people had been through before the talk as I was late for it but the whole hall was damn quiet, which was unsual, during the two talks. The teachers even said they appreciated and extolled our behavior very much. It was a miracle- the first time for us to receive praise for our behavior from teachers. However, we didn't seem to have much fun in school today. Most of the students wore school uniforms and most of those who chose to wear other clothes wore casual wear, not smart casual wear. They wore jeans and even shorts but they didn't seem to have got criticized by the teachers. It didn't take us (Me & Yonnie) long to find out that there were actually some trousers at our home which were available for today's policy. We felt both disappointed and sad to know we could have wore something different, something special while others were wearing uniforms. You know, it made you look cooler. Ha
After school, we were supposed to watch a movie called "Nanking Nanking" with Mr. Lai, our class teacher. Oops, for "we", it refers to Yonnie, Amanda and me. I was the one who had suggested this idea first. In the few previous days, i had suggessted to the class going to watch "Nanking Nanking" but nobody had seem to have much interests. Therefore, I eventually only got three, including Mr. Lai to go with me. But as today's last talk was ended late, we had to wait for Mr. Lai till 4:30pm, when we all had little time to get to the cinema. The cinema was Kawn Tong and guess what, Ms. Wong went as well! Well i mean the one who teaches English. She is quite nice so we never minded having her joined us. Actually it was an even better idea. So two teachers and three students. Though we were a little bit late for the movie but we had quite a lot of fun. Mr. Lai even bought us a large size of popcorn and we also had dinner in a restaurant. We talked and ate, so happy and....well kinda unique. I had never eaten dinner with teachers before nor had i known it was actually so much fun. Though Mr. Lai seemed Ok and pleased to pay for the meal but maybe in his heart he felt sad. Haha 'cause we ate so much.
Well, i guess i should stop here 'cause time's running out and I still have to do something before I go to sleep. But I can say today was one of the happinest day i have ever had.
